The Brief
As part of a creative internship with Monash Emerging technologies lab myself and masters of design student Jahnavi Patel were tasked with creating a large scaled illustrated comic strip for an upcoming conference. We worked with Dr. Emma Quilty from the lab to create a design brief, narrative and visual direction for the comic. The comic’s narrative visualised a speculative human centered technologically advanced future in response to Quilty’s paper The Problems with Podman.

The comic was also printed in the 15th edition of the So Fi Zine. So Fi Zine is an indie publication for sociological fiction, poetry, and visual art. Standing against the exclusive practices of academic publishing.
